Months ago, my husband asked if he could attend an all day reef-keepers conference with his brother (They both have salt water tanks with coral, tropical fish, etc.). I of course said yes, figuring that by two weeks, I would be fine with caring for our DD by myself.
Which I am...
But I miss him. All of my close friends live hours away, as does my family, and my SIL is busy. So it's just the two of us. After her nap and a good feeding, I plan on taking her somewhere since the weather is nice, but conversation with a two week old isn't exactly stimulating. I just wish my hubby was here to hang out with...Is it 9 pm yet?!? ::sigh::
Re: Ugg
When my babies were 2 weeks old, we had a HUGE snowstorm and my husband plows snow at an airport 2 hours away. He was gone for 6 days. Then last month during the second and third huge storms, he was gone for 8 days.
I feel your pain. I could handle it, but I missed him like crazy. Especially since I had to take care of his two stupid dogs too. Haha.
My dh is going out of town next weekend. Im dredding it, usually I would be counting down the hours until I get a few days to myself. Not this time. I'm going to miss our 3 am conversations.
