short cervix mommas..?

hi there!! very random question..are there days that your vagina/cervix feels heavier than normal? Most days I don't notice how it feels and some days it kind of feels a bit heavy!

  • For sure- but I usually feel better if I switch positions.  If it's abnormally heavy feeling I would give your Dr. a call....
  • I get this a LOT!  Feels like pressure down there.  I talked to my doctor about it, and she checked me to make sure that I wasn't dilating, and said it's possible it is because the baby is getting bigger, and putting more pressure on my cervix/pelvic floor.  It's been happening to me for the past 2 weeks, and over those 2 weeks, I have had continuous improvements at my cervical length checks, and no dilation.  Hope that helps!!

I would definitely call though if it feels abnormal to you, and is worrying you in any way.  It's always better to be safe than sorry!!  If nothing else, they can put your mind at ease!

  • I called just to ask and they said that its probably nothing but they would for sure check on Monday at my appt. Thanks for the reassurance I feel like I get all worked up over everything Embarrassed
  • I hear ya!  I'm constantly freaked out with this pregnancy!!  It can be so scary sometimes!!
