When you said below that your dog likes to burrow under the covers- my dog does the same thing. Only she thinks shes a human and requires the pilliow. One morning DH got out of bed and made some coffee, when he got back to the bedroom this is what he saw:

My cat has this game she loves to play. We call it "Kitty in a blanket". She lets you wrap her up like a burrito and then toss her on the bed. At first I did it as a joke (I don't normally toss her around). She loves it. She also likes to hide under the covers and pounce on you as you get into bed. Kitty claws! haha.

OMG that picture is tooooooooooo cute! 

I love that she puts her head right on the pillow.  My bigger / older dog does that one too but only if the little one is not in the bed.  The 2 of them get along fine, but for some reason they don't like to be in the bed at the same time.

All of my friends that aren't "dog people" think I'm nuts for allowing my dogs in the bed let alone allow my Puggle to burrow under the covers with me.  I sleep on my side and she likes to snuggle up right against the back of my knees / calves.  I think she likes to be warm.

They are definitely our Babies!

I absolutely agree- I sleep on my side and she sleeps against me for my warmth! If I move, she scoots her little (big) butt closer.
