My LO never spit up. I BF so thought, well...good. Just recently he's been spitting up. To me it seems like a lot because he went from zero to this... But I know from neice/nephew it's really not a lot. THEY threw up. He's spitting up.. And it's a difference.
Totally not sure, but I almost think now that he's older, he's trying to eat more and he's just "getting full up to here" ::points to throat:: (as I say)
Mine starting spitting up around three weeks too. Everything I have read indicates that spit up is a laundry problem not a medical problem. Our pedi told us not to be concerned unless he is vomitting not spitting up.
He may just have bad acid reflux. If it gets really bad and he can't sleep at night because of it...try the Nap Nanny, it puts the baby at an angle the eliminates the likeliness of spitting up. Plus it's super comfy and fits right in the crib!
