Can Marshall's look up a transaction with a credit card?

I bought a backpack about a week ago and it its too small for what I need it for. Unfortunately the receipt was in the bag that I grabbed to throw a birthday present in so that it didn't get wet.  I know that a lot of stores can look up the transaction if you have the credit card and you can then make the return.

More than likely, yes.  Also, pull up your cc transaction so that you can cross reference if they give you a hard time.
