I guess she's not a morning person

I'm wondering if anyone else experiences this- every morning, DD eats around 5-6 am and then falls back asleep. Right now, I do too since I'm still on leave. About 20 minutes after feeding, she starts grunting in her sleep (loud enough that i wake up) but doesn't open her eyes or cry. This usually continues until her feed at 8 am unless I take her into bed with me, then she is usually quietly sleeping. It only happens in the morning. Its pretty funny except that I'm still tired too and want to sleep! :) I'm wondering if she is sick of being swaddled in bed but is still tired? Or is this me reading too much into a 2 month old's mind? Just wondering if your LO ever does this?

  • My DS does the same thing!!! He slept 7 hours last night, woke up at 5 am & ate, changed him, played a bit. He's asleep again... but not in a deep sleep.

It always amazes me that he can sleep so long and then go right back to sleep again!!
