DD had her 2 month check up on Monday. The pediatrician was concerned that her head control isn't very good yet. He wants us to come back at three months so that he can recheck her. Just wondering how old your LO was when they started to have good head control.
Re: Head control ?
DD has been pretty good at head control since just a few weeks. But she is super nosy and likes to see what is going on so she is mostly upright all day except at nap time and when playing on her activity mat. She spends most of her day in the Moby facing outward.
I do, but she HATES it. I think she thinks it is time to eat (because it is the only other time there is pressure on her tummy) so she just mouths the floor until she gets mad and then goes limp and screams. I've tried dangling toys in front of her and getting down and putting my face by her. Any other suggestions?
Try using the boppy to prop her up during tummy time. DS liked that better at first, but he's tolerating just being on the floor on his belly now. Also, chest to chest time with you or DH counts as tummy time.
Our LO started trying to hold his head up from birth and is getting pretty good control of it for short periods of time now.
