letter to my annoying body/reproductive system (vent)

Dear Ducky's Body,

 You suck.  I have faithfully charted all of your fertility signs for the past five cycles.  I even started charting four cycles before I planned to TTC so that I would know what was going on and be comfortable with charting when I started TTC.  You always ovulated, and your signs were pretty predictable, and I could tell when I was going to O a couple days in advance.  Last cycle, I even got my first positive OPK.

So, body of mine, why are you being so uncooperative now? Here we are on CD 26 with no O.  And you keep sending EWCM, but then not Oing.  This is confusing me and making me annoyed.  Please, body, could you O now?  Or if you don't feel like Oing, could you send AF so that we can try again on a new cycle?  I would greatly appreciate it.

haha, thanks.  I think humor is the best strategy sometimes.  And considering that I have been pleading with my body to cooperate lately (like every time I pee on an OPK or take my temp in the morning), I thought it was worth putting it in writing, too!  Glad to hear my letter made other people smile or laugh.

I've had this SN since jr high and I love it.  I have no idea how I came up with it, but I'm happy with it.

hmm, I'll have to get DH to try that.  Maybe my ovaries will listen to him, as they seem to be completely ignoring me.
