As I lay in bed last night awake at 4:00 AM with a painful leg cramp (something that hasn?t happened to my since I was in my teens), I realized that going through pregnancy is a lot like going through puberty! Here are just a few of the similarities for me:
- I'm extremely hormonal and have constant mood swings
- Other people are always trying to tell me what to do
- I'm constantly hungry, and all I want is junk food
- I'm obsessed with my weight, my skin is terrible and I have hot flashes
- Leg cramps and other growing pains wake me up at night
- I?m totally preoccupied thinking of boys names
- My boobs are getting bigger by the second
- Stretch marks are bound to appear any day now
- All I want to do is go shopping for new clothes
- I really want a drink, but I?m not allowed
What other ones can you think of? I'm thinking of turning this into a blog post!

- I am completely self-conscious again!
