you know you're a mom.....

when your hubs tells you to go out and buy yourself something nice and all i can think about is buying new stuff for dd.  sad, really sad.  i used to love shopping for me.   now my daughter has a far better wardrobe than me.

I'm SO with you.. I get mad at myself, too. Used to LOVE-LOVE-LOVE shopping, now... I seem to find a reason not to buy whatever I find, and rather end up at Gymboree or something

Don't feel bad, DH told me the samething when we got our awesome taxes back and I can't think of anything I really want and a few things I kinda want I just can't justify spending the money on even though we have it to spend....and my DD's wardrobe is better then mine too...lol

Im the same way.  DH gets upset with me when I tell him Im going to go shopping.  He always tells me to go out and buy myself something.  When I come home with no bags for me and 3 bags for DD, he's like what happened?!  I tell him I didnt find anything for me and he just rolls his eyes.

Yup. I had GC's to Kohl's for my birthday and I told MH that I was all proud that I only used $5 of it on DS and actually bought myself the much needed clothing.

I totally agree!  My son's closet and dresser are jam packed full of clothes while I seem to wear the same 3 or 4 outfits.  I feel guilty spending money on me but don't have a problem dishing it out for him!
