I am not a big disney fan by any means, but I don't really think its fair to deprive my kids of that crap...admittedly I haven't seen very many of them, although I LOVE alice in wonderland.

so we bought the Princess and the Frog, and now I want to watch MORE disney movies! are they all that good? It was so visually entertaining, and just...good.

If you haven't seen it, I recommend it very much.

Agreed. ?I took Layla to see it 3 times at the theater! She loved it so much and it was something for us to get out of the house and do.?

IMHO - there is not one princess movie that even comes close to being as good as Princess and the Frog. It's such a great movie...and very different from the others. Better storyline, no dead mother, no evil stepmother, etc.

I don't know if I have seen really...any other princess movies! we have Snow white, but I haven't watched it all the way.

I REALLY liked the southern influence and art deco and overall style of the whole thing- I am a total sucker for anything that takes place in georgia or Louisiana..

Oh I haven't seen it yet, can't wait . IMO Lion King is very good and I like Aladdin too-although they are older movies..

I also like Beauty and the Beast - for Princess movies.

my all time favorite is Sleeping Beauty, but that one is mostly because of sentimentality - it was my fave growing up.  It's really an old one, and doesn't have near the cool stuff you see in the newer movies.

The Little Mermaid is cute, too.

I LOVE The Princess and the Frog.  Our's just came today, but I am saving it for DD's Easter basket.  We recently got 'Tarzan' and both of my kids love it...great  songs and they love all the animals in it!

Hmmm...I got a very different story from DH.  He took DD#1 to see it & he thought it was very dark & didn't like the 'voodoo' aspect of it.  I'm just repeating what he said- I didn't see it.  Anyhow, he thought it was a bit scary for younger kids.  DD liked it okay.  She likes Space Buddies much better

I LOVED greystoke ( was that what it was called? the tarzan movie?) when I was a kid- we will HAVE to get `the disney tazan! Thanks ya'll!

agree...Princess and the Frog was prob the best Disney movie but all of them are excellent. If you don't want to buy them go to your local library and rent them for free and then if you like them buy them.
