1 Hour Glucose Test in Afternoon

It seems like most posts about the 1 hour test seem to suggest that people are having it done in the morning.  My doctor told me today when I had my appointment that at my next appointment, I would have the glucose test done, that I should just come in and they would send me down to the lab to drink the stuff and sit for the hour after I had my appointment.  Then when I went to the scheduling lady to schedule my appointment, they scheduled it for 1:00 and she said that after the appointment seemed late to do the glucose test so I should come in before the appointment to get it done.  So I am assuming if I go in at about 11:30 that will give me enough time to drink the stuff and sit for an hour before the appointment.  Also, should I just have a regular breakfast that morning and then go in at 11:30 to do it.  It seems like most people do it early in the morning.  Sorry for all the questions and I am sure I will call my doctor just to double check all this, but I just basically wanted to see if anyone else had done the glucose test later and if so, did you alter what you ate all day?  Thanks.

Mine will be done in my OB's office and my appointment will be at 4PM. They told me I could eat normally just dont eat anything sugary.

Nothing super sugary for breakfast and don't eat after 9:30am if you are going to test at 11:30.

my doctors office gave me the stuff to drink already.  I have an appointment for 9 am in a few weeks.  I'm supposed to drink it 45 minutes before arriving and then they will draw my blood at the hour mark. 

 I was also told I couldn't eat or drink anything after midnight the night before.

Its weird how dr.'s are all different with some of these things....
