With my DS I had like ZERO symptoms, even AF-like. The only thing I notice when looking back at my chart was the creamy CM (which I have realized meant jack) and a small amount of brown spotting. Otherwise...nothing! I do overanalyze everything with this time TTC. It's horrible. I worry about my boobs all the time, check internal CM far to regularly, and obsess over my CP (even though I know it means not much at all and isn't consistent).
My chart says I'm 8DPO and I've gotten feedback from GP that people think it's accurate, me...I don't. I think I O'ed on CD19 instead, which makes me 6DPO instead. This is infuriating...because I come on FF to put in my temps, etc in the morning and the DPO makes me so happy...then I think...well duh...I'm actually 2 days behind that. I plan to wait until at least Tuesday of next week to test...my LPs have never been longer than 11days...so that's my goal to wait till if no temp drop happens. I usually drop on 9-10DPO then drop again on 10-11DPO and get AF that day. I'm looking for that to happen any day now. But...I'm so pessimistic this cycle now:(
I'm not sure if it was an actual symptom but I got a really stuffy nose in the 2WW when I was pregnant with DD. I had that same stuffy nose until I reach my third trimester. My OB says it is a coommon occurence because of the extra hormones. I was also extremely bloated when I found out I was pregnant.
Of course I over analyze everything! I know each pregnancy can be different so I try not to compare but it is hard. When you want something so badly you try to believe it is happening....

QOTD: My DS is almost 6 so I really don't remember too many early symptoms at all. I constantly think any little twinge or soreness is something now even though I know it means absolutely nothing.
I'm CD 1 today. Boo!!! My temp took a nosedive followed by AF and her horrid cramps.
Feb Siggy Challenge
I wasn't charting for DD but did use OPK. I had implantation bleeding so I thought I was out of the game (because it was pretty heavy) so DH and I split a bottle of wine. Then my Green card came in the mail (Canadian here, eh) and we celebrated (a few days after the wine) with some champagne. Fast forward to halfway through the night and I was sick as a dog. Started realizing that "AF" had stopped and wondered if it was IB. Tested in the evening and got a faint line. Confirmed with the digi in the morning.
Have had mid LP bleeding this month so I have myself convinced that I am pregnant. Will test tomorrow morning.
Happy St. Patrick's Day! Homemade Green Brew tonigh! It should be ready for consumption!

Symptoms with dd, she truly was a surprise, so in hindsight: I had nausea on cd 24 I had slight nausea from an energy drink, I had been consuming one every morning for months and suddenly it made me sick, dh told me that day I was pregnant, but there was just no way, so I thought. cd 30-36 (got a bfp on cd 36), I had EXTREME All week, perpetual pms with extreme breast and nipple soreness, pelvic cramps, kept feeling like I was going to start, running to the bathrrom, nothing. I look for these symptoms during my 2ww and haven't felt anything close to what I recall.
The first time around i really didn't have any smptoms. It was our first month trying after a chemical pregnancy and i was using an OPK which was NEVER positive so i assumed i didnt ovulate(also assumed this because i had a sonogram that showed i had polycystic ovaries. So my period was not coming and just decided to test totally expecting a BFN. To my surprise it was positive. Cycle # 8 was the one!! I had cramping after my BFP and morning sickness hit at around 8 weeks.
I really have nothing to compare to but my last chemical pregnancy i had sore boobs and cramps which i have been having for about a week now. I have this strange feeling i might be pg...but deep down i know its all in my head. Ugh this SUCKS!!!! Im trying to hold out as long as i can but ill prob. test on sat or sunday. With my DD, I didn't really have any symptoms I just had a feeling that I was pregnant. I've been having a lot of phantom symptoms the last 2 cycles, so I've given up trying to analyze them.
I just started cycle #3.
I really thought things were looking good last cycle so I tested at what I thought was 13 DPO, got a BFN, and then AF showed up the next morning. I'm going to start temping this cycle so that I can get a better idea of what's going on with my cycles.

Still waiting to O here, but I definitely compare my symptoms! I had BAD metal mouth with Jack, as well as the omgAFisimminent feeling. A bunch of bloody noses as well, but that was about 5 weeks, the metal mouth (and supersmell!) were both before 4 weeks.
GOOD LUCK to everyone in the 2ww!!! I think I am gearing up for a long one again, CD18 and no O yet. I am going to faithfully use OPK's until I get a temp shift this time, even if it is CD39 like last time!
With DS things were a little different. My husband and I had decided to take some time off on TTC. So that month I really just said we can?t do anything during these days (the days I was suppose to O). I was not really charting, but I had pretty much figured out what I thought was going on. Sure enough, as everyone says on this board, no one is like clock work. Most of the signs that I noticed were very close to AF signs. This time around I have had a few phantom symptoms, but I am attempting to ignore them. This is my first cycle charting and I am 4DPO.

With both of my pregnancies, I had totally different symptoms. With DS, I had a lot of AF like cramps, extreme fatigure, and very sore breasts. The second time I was pregnant, I had nausea starting at 10 DPO, sore breasts, and an enhanced sense of smell. I think it is strange that with my healthy pregnancy I had a lot of cramping and spotting, but with my loss, I didn't have any cramps, nor did I spot until my m/c was confirmed.

QOTD: My main symptom was that I spotted every single day after O. It sucked and it really stressed me out. I didn't have many other symptoms, other than some crampy feelings here and there. I was blessed to not have morning sickness at all. I do find myself comparing my charts to my pregnancy chart. I somehow expect that I need to O on the same cycle day and have sex on the same cycle days in order to concieve. I O'd on a different cycle day this month, so hopefully I can prove myself wrong!
mrsmonica - Congrats on that high temp! I know you are relieved after having those lower/steady temps for a few days.

Mrs. Monica, you read my mind! I am in the 2ww and comparing symptoms like crazy! With both my m/c and DS I had swollen, sore boobs. With DS I had cramping so I was sure that AF was on her way. I was also emotional...I cried over a turkey!
I have been feeling crampy this week, especially in the evening but I don't think it is anything. I have pretty much convinced myself that I am not pregnant but I guess we'll see this weekend. Good luck to everyone else in the 2ww!

I got a BFP with DD at 8 dpo, so before that, I had no symptoms at all. By 12 dpo, when I was due to start af, I literally felt like i was having the worst period of my life. I had HORRENDOUS cramps, my back hurt so bad, and I looked about 5 months pregnant cause I was so bloated. That feeling lasted about 2 days, then nothing til 7 weeks when I started feeling sick.
Hm, I think my gums bled too, pretty early.
I am waiting to O and I have now decided I hate this more than the 2ww! There is nothing to analyze, no pretending I may be pregnant, nothing! Should be O ing this weekend, so dh and I have gotten started
I actually had no symptoms with DS. I just looked at my calender one morning on the way to work and realized, huh, I'm a day late. So DH and I went during our lunch break (we worked together then) and bought a test and tested in the bathroom at work (family owned business). It was positive of course!
I am 8 DPO right now and plan on testing Sunday.
My symptoms with DS were AF-like cramps that started shortly after O, a tiny amount of spotting the night before AF was due, hot flashes, and REALLY sore boobs. I got my BFP 2 days after the sore boobs, when I was about 6 weeks along. This time, I'm definitely looking for phantom symptoms and it drives me crazy!
Cycle-wise, I'm due to O any day. I finally started charting this cycle. Of course DS is getting his molars and doesn't sleep well so I temp anywhere between 4:30 and 6:30, and have a lot of open circles.

With my first pregnancy I had implantation bleeding at 5dpo and 6dpo. I knew at that moment I was pregnant. I don't know why. I had no other symptoms really, but I had never had spotting before like that so I thought it must be implantation bleeding. I started to get sore boobs around 8dpo but I usual get that with PMS too. I got a BFP on CD38...I O late that month, so I waited and it was something like 18dpo. When AF still didn't show I was positive I was pregnant and sure enough I was. I have yet to feel that way since I've been TTC #2. I'm curious to see that if and when I do get pregnant how similiar or different it will be from the first time around.
I'm currently on CD14 and still have high readings. Been drinking green tea every day and have definitely noticed an increase in CM. We'll see if it helps this month. Hoping to O this weekend. This cycle seems to be going very slow for some reason!

Hi everyone! With DS, I had some spotting in the 2WW so I figured I was out, and I got really dizzy in the shower one day. Other than that, nothing out of the norm. I was new to charting and TTC, so I just didn't think I was KU.
I am the WORST now with phantom symptoms, I have myself convinced each cycle that it's definitely the month. Working on the patience...

My BFP Chart
The only symptom I had during the first several weeks with DD was exhaustion. Which I currently have pretty much every day by 5pm so no comparison there.
I'm pretty sure I haven't O'd yet. Not sure what's going on. Weird temp drop right? What's that all about?
With my first pregnancy, the only symptom I had was two days of scant light brown spotting before I got my BFP. No sore boobs, cramps, etc. This cycle, I've had light brown spotting since Saturday (off and on) so I have no idea what that's all about. My temps are still elevated for now.
Today I'm 12 DPO and got a BFN this morning. I think it might be a bit early though.
Yes it is!! The days and nights are sooooooo long! I normally want time to slow down, so I should sit back and enjoy it.

QOTD: With DD I was VERY tired and had lots of creamy CM, but the big symptom was my nips! They were on fire, like someone put out a match on them, OUCH! With my m/c I have very little symptoms. My boobs hurt, but not that bad and I was pretty tired but, not that bad. So, I guess I have been comparing and trying to see if I get any of the same symptoms.
Update on me: Still no AF
I really want to ttc again, but I am miss one huge factor..... A closing to my m/c cycle with the appearance of my friend AF. I am hoping she will be here by tomorrow. So then I can officially move on.

With Connor I knew that full on AF was on her way. I had the cramps, back ache, sore legs the whole 9 yards. Looking back I remember waking up the whole week before I tested thinking that I didn't feel really good but I thought I was just catching a mild virus. I tested when I was 1 day late because I was NEVER late. Sure enough, BFP. With my 2nd pregnancy I had sore boobs, cramps and mild nausea. I really thought that AF was coming (I had been having some odd AF symptoms for about 6 months before). I tested the day before AF was due and sure enough, and to my surprise, BFP. With my 3rd pregnancy, I didn't really feel anything much at all. I knew that DH and I had hit some good days so I decided to test for the heck of it 4 days before AF was due. I'm guessing that because it was a chemical pregnancy is why I didn't have any symptoms really.
I'm in the 2ww and very nervous about this cycle. I don't temp or chart but I do know the span of days that all 3 of my pregnancies were conceived so I have a somewhat idea of when I ovulate. DH and I hit those days so I'm crossing my fingers.

I did my first beta yesterday and another one tomorrow.. hoping to get my results before the weekend.... super nervious and hoping this baby sticks! So far so good though.. no spotting and morning sickness in full force.. worse than with ds. I will keep you all posted.
I only have one word of advice... PRESEED.. although it was our 7th cycle ttc it was only our 2nd using preseed.. and the first month we used it it was an old batch from when we were ttc ds ( I know bad) so it was expired..

So far this baby is sticking with me and I am so thankful! No spotting. Some mild cramping off and on (similar to what I had with Heidi). Nausea and constipation. But those are all good signs, so no complaints here!

I'm in the 2ww now
With my DD I never really had any symptoms until after I got a +HPT. Looking back I probably did have some but since it was our first cycle ever of ttc I probably didn't think too much of it. Two days after a +hpt the pregnancy 'nose' really kicked in, as did the nausea :P
As for green beer, nope none for me. I hate beer in general so green doesn't really make it any more appealing to me ;-) Besides which, about 8 years ago DH went out drinking on St. Patty's Day with some buddies and drank tons of green beer. An hour after stumbling in (at 3am) he was throwing up in our toilet...you can imagine the technicolour of it all :P
I'm Irish, but no green beer for me. I worked an 11 1/2 hour day yesterday so I just wanted to go home. Anyway with DD the only sign I remember was really sore boobs. The last couple of cycles I have really overanalyzed everything. This cycle is crazy so I really feel like there's no hope for this cycle, and thus haven't been overanalyzing anything. We'll see.

With DS I was tired, everything tasted like metal or medicine, I had a meat aversion, my boobs were a little hot and soar and very very slightly sick to my stomach. I thought I was just sick. I had become so jaded and so use to jumping at every little phantom symptom that I just blew it off. I didn't test till 33 DPO (my cycles were never regular).
I do find myself comparing. I am trying not to.
I find myself once again being super aware of phantom symptoms now that I am TTC.
Where am I in the cycle:
16 DPO and BFN.
I have a doctors appointment to as for Metformin on April 1st and to see about my back which got messed up with the epidural I received with DS.
Waiting on my period to show up.
DD was a BCP suprise. The day before I tested I had missed work due to a stomach bug, I had nausea but no vomitting. I didn't think I was pg, but I took a hpt AT WORK that a friend had brought. Everyone else was sooo sure I was pg, and I for the first time was sure I was not. Long story short, 2 very dark lines on the first test followed by the same on the next 5 I took as well as a digi.
Since I was so sure of not being pg I am not sure about many symptoms.
My update: I just finished the Provera last night and I am now praying for AF and a "normal" cycle!!

Symptoms with #1 - hot flash (first ever) at 8 DPO, cramps, and spotting on 10DPO. I constantly compare everything (temps, symptoms, CM) to the cycle I got pregnant. I feel like I majorly over analyze every little thing in the 2WW. It's hard not to!!
I am 9 DPO (thanks for the pretty chart comment!) but I was hoping for a temp rise today (isn't everyone??!!). We'll see what the next few days bring!

Your post made me laugh today. I too just purchased a new batch of preseed because I started using it again last month after 6 cycles not getting PG, but it was also an old batch from when we conceived my son..sound familiar? This will be my first month with the new batch and cycle #7 just like you. Maybe it will be my lucky month too. It just made me laugh how similiar our stories were. Congratulations on your BFP!
