First GD, now modified bedrest...seriously?

I had my NST and growth ultrasound today and they found from my NST that I'm having contractions! Crazy b/c I don't feel A THING. Nothing!

So after being monitored for almost 3 hours at the hospital today hooked up to IV and all, they put me on modified bedrest for at least a week up to 3 weeks. I will wait to see what my dr says when I see him next week.  I also have another NST on Tuesday of next week.

This sucks! I mean its nice not being at work but being on house arrest blows. I also was suppose to meet with one of the pediatricians on monday for a consult, not sure if I'm allowed to leave the house for that. I'm going to call my dr tomorrow.

I also found out that b/c I have a small pelvis and curved tailbone I most likely will be having a c-section. Awesome. Oh and I have a cervical polyp that is large.

Today was fun!

Wow, that is a lot of news for one appointment!  I'm sorry you're on bedrest... Join our check-in.  It is an adjustment but you can do it.

I feel your pain!!!  We sound alike!  I have GD and then last week at 33 weeks, started having contractions every 4-5 minutes and was in the hospital for 3 days with preterm labor.  Finally got the contractions to stop after two injections of Terbutaline and now oral Terb and modified bedrest until 36 weeks!

Sorry you've gotten such bad news lately!  Hope it's only up from here!

they didn't give me any meds, could it be b/c i'm on insulin? are you on meds?
