2-week appointments starting at 28 weeks?

i had an appt last night and my OB said he will see me in 2 weeks because "they" changed the process and now the 2-week visits start at 28 weeks.  has anyone else heard this? any ideas on why the change?  i am kind of excited because it makes me feel further along!!

Same for me - from what I've heard that's expected and then it goes to every week a bit later.

Mine start then, too and then go to weekly in my last month.

It may have just changed for your office! cause i went at 24wks and don't go again till 28wks then the two week ones will start

My office starts every 2 weeks at 28 weeks as well.

I'm 23 weeks.... had an appointment yesterday and he said every 2 weeks now. I'm like, whhaaaat? He said your 6 months now, that's how it works. I don't remember that from my other kids, but it's been awhile.

My OB doesn't do every 2 weeks until 30 weeks...but 28 doesn't sound crazy.

This seems to be what happened to me..but I seem to be going back weekly due to needed u/s that are in the weeks aside from my reg appt..

Mine start at 27 weeks, 1st apt is on Monday...fun, fun!!!
