How did you deal with the waiting? It's driving me insane!!
Without making this a 6 page post, this pregnancy has been less then easy. I think I am more nervous because of that, almost like I am expecting something else to go wrong. We are seeing a wonderful MFM next Monday and I know we are in good hands but I just feel like life is on hold until all of this is out of the way and we can just go back to be normal excited parents planning the nursery and picking out clothes.
Re: If you had to go the level II, amnio, ect.. route
I had to have a Level II for a 2-vessel cord a couple weeks ago and I completely understand how you feel like your life is on hold. We wanted to be excited after our big U/S and just couldn't be with the possibility of something happening. We had 3 days inbetween the big u/s and the Level II and I have to say it was probably the hardest and most nerve-wracking time of my life. I found comfort in going to work (even though I cried everytime someone asked me how I was doing) and just being close to my DH. Everything turned out okay except for the close monitoring they will have to do toward the end for growth. Now we feel comfortable and can breathe easier.
Try to keep focused and find relaxing things to do--a massage from DH, a bubble bath, comfort foods, dinner with girlfriends. I know how you feel and I'm sorry you're in the position you're in. Please keep us posted and best wishes at your next appt.
