I know! And your nursery is WAYYYY more "done" than mine! We registered for all his items, so if we don't get them, he'll have to make do ;0) Aurora, on the other hand, has a nursery fit for a princess!

Pretty much just have to put the crib together and install the car seat.

 There are a few other things I am wanting to buy, but nothing else that NEEDS to be done/bought

Ok soo materialistic wise (nursery, clothes, gear) I am ready...but for the labor and delivery I am ready but not ready (scared little girl)

I voted for "in a month or so,"  but all thats left for the nursery is to hang art, and wash everything! OH! and fix the bumper ties, as my crib has huge solid parts in the middle...Other than that, we dont have the carseat/stroller, any diapers/wipes, or extra sheets and such. But, although I haven't heard anything about a shower, my two bff's had mentioned way back that they wanted to do one. So I'm holding off on buying the rest of what we need, but it's so hard! I am a total shop-a-holic, and LOVE perusing the baby sections/stores!

Do you know what I think is unusual, how we're always scared to start "too early" and then when it gets much closer, we feel like we have a BILLION things to do!

That's how I was... Thought it was too early, too early... Now I'm making lists and trying to get my registry finished, have NO idea when or where my shower will be.

Yeah, we may have a nursery, but i still dont' feel ready! I mean i have furniture, and some clothes, but i have NOTHING else! haha Thanks I'm hoping it will be a princess nursery! BTW, I read your blog this morning, and I loved reading about your DH and the little girl! So heartmelting

That's how I was... Thought it was too early, too early... Now I'm making lists and trying to get my registry finished, have NO idea when or where my shower will be. 

Yes, exactly this!!!  I think "it's too early to wash clothes" or whatever, but I know that then I'll be stuck doing everything at once. My mantra when I find myself in the "too early" mode of thinking is, "well, it's all gotta get done, so it may as well be now for this one thing" and that helps me stop procrastinating.

Hey thanks! AHHH it totally melted MY heart I can tell you! It totally changed the way we see little girls! Now we're hoping #2 is a girl! We picked a name today on a whim. We're still pumped about Nathaniel but I keep seeing little ruffle butt shorts and hairbows! I'll just have to live through you

Oh what's the name!? Gotta share with me Ever since we found out we are having a girl, DH just loves his new little cousin Kinly! He takes to her like crazy! I've never seen him this way with kids before. And I love buying ruffle butts, and hairbows. She has a ton of hairbows already lol.. 

I know I know! I need to update! Will do that tomorrow, after I take my weekly picture tonight.

Nursery is done and has been for a WHILE...baby shower date was scheduled and has been changed twice! Still no new date...GRRR....

We've pre-registered at the hospital, bought many items already, registered, chosen a date for the shower, signed up for BF and birthing classes... nursery is still untouched (but that's out of our hands at the moment). I think the nursery is the only thing I am starting to get panicky about.

We are still looking for a place to live. We can't really decorate a room for a baby in a place we don't plan on living in. We hope to find something a little bigger before LO comes. Just taking it step by step. I will wait until after the shower to finish purchasing all the things I need, but as of now I don't want to buy anything until i find out the gender.
