GIRL!!!! DH and I were positive it was a boy and have been calling LO Liam ever since we got our BFP lol. DH's grandparents had all boys and their boys had all boys. We figured this would be the first boy in the third generation but NOPE!!! I guess I kind of forgot to tell DH that three white lines at the ultrasound meant a girl. I was lying on the bed watching and I could see the lines clear as a bell right away. I figured there was no way I was seeing what I thought I was seeing. The ultrasound tech said "well....I see three white lines...." I shouted out IT'S A GIRL!!!! and started crying! Poor DH missed really seeing it cause he looked at me and then back at the screen and had no idea what he was looking for and then the tech had to take a phone call so the really good shot only lasted a second. We went straight to his parents house to tell his mom and she was soooo excited and had tears in her eyes. When we first broke the news about our BFP everyone was kind of shocked cause they all thought we were too young (I'm 26 DH is 29 we're not too young at all!!). The news about the girl has everybody extremely excited and making it all seem so much more real. DH's late grandmother always wanted a daughter or a granddaughter. This is the very first baby born into the family since she passed so she's going to be named Robyn after her. :-)
Re: It's a.......
Thanks Ladies!!! And thanks also for the age remarks. DH and I know we're not too young but DH's an only child and I don't think his parents realise how old he actually is. I was an only child for 14 years and I'm still little Sarah to them too. I turned 25 2 months after we were married and my family thought I was too young to get married as well. Our families just don't like the fact that we're getting older and since we are that means they are too! His parents deffinately don't think they're old enough to be grandparents but at 55 guess what....yes you are!!
