If you own a Lansinoh Double Electric...

Have you ever sterilized your pump parts in a steam bag/container in the microwave? I checked the Lansinoh website but it only mentions this being safe for their new Affinity pump (no info about it for the regular double electric).

I know I shouldn't be paranoid, but I haven't tried it for fear that something happens and then I can't pump for 3-4 days while trying to order new parts. I wouldn't put the tubing in there - just the shields, white valves, and silicone cups things. Thanks!

I just boil my parts on the stove.  I don't see why you could not use the microwavable bags though.

I could be wrong, but I think in the manual it says not to boil the white pieces and the tubing. I think it says to just wash with warm soapy water and not to use a nipple brush. But I sterilized the other parts by boiling before I used the pump, and now I sterilize them in a microwave sterilizer.
