NBR: is one week too short notice?

I'm planning on inviting my neighbors for brunch since I moved a couple months ago and haven't had a chance to meet most of them. Do you think one week is too short notice, especially for people you don't know? Should I make it in 2 weeks? TIA!

One week is prob really way too short. I would do 2 or even 3 weeks. some people do plans in advance. especially if they have children.

for a simple brunch, i think it is fine, but don't be bothered if you have to reschedule or they ask you for a different day!

I would do 2 or 3 weeks a 1 week notice is a little short especially for people that you are not familiar with.

thanks ladies! i think i will take your advice and give it 2 weeks...
