Recommend (or not recommend) your maternity pillow

So I've been having trouble sleeping at night.  And you know how the day goes when you're pregnant and not getting enough sleep.  Anyway, I'm looking to buy a maternity pillow for some added comfort and hopefully better sleep.  Any recommendations or brands to avoid? Thanks!

I have the Snoogle and I LOVE it. totally reccommend it. Buy it off amazon or ebay. better prices.

i got my snoogle off amazon and love it. i recommend getting an extra cover so you can alternate them.

I got a Mini-Snoogle, because I feared a Snoogle would take over our bed completely - judging by the Mini, I am probably right, lol. I do love it, but it is flattening out a smidge where it rests between my knees.

 

I also have a full length body pillow you can buy at Target or wherever, that I used during my first pregnancy.

I just bought a body pillow for about $12 at Bed, Bath, and Beyond.  I used it through all of my last PG and it worked perfectly.  Then my parent's dog peed all over it :-(

I have the Boppy pregnancy pillow that is shaped like a comma.  I love it but sometimes wish I had a snoogle that wrapped around my whole body.  I was nervous the snoogle would not leave an room for MH in the bed.

DH hated my snoogle at first. complained about it taking up room. now he snuggles against it as well. he has adapted for his wife and little girls comfort

I have the Boppy full body contour pillow. The last three nights since I got it have been absolutely magical!!! It supports the girls (who have grown from a 34B to a 36C) AND it keeps my leg propped up so my bladder isn't crushed. It's like sleeping in a hug. *I have a really dopey smile on my face right now*

Yes, it takes up quite a bit of space in our queen sized bed and yes, my husband is pretty sure he's been replaced, but frankly, he's too bony to be a good body pillow and we still both have plenty of room. We're both pretty slender though, its mostly his freakishly long arms and legs that like to take up most of the bed. He doesn't lay in a straight like, he sleeps like a Z instead. The pillow blocks his poky elbows!

I bought the Boppy yesterday and had a really hard time sleeping last night. It's big so you can rest your head on it, but I found that I was more comfortable with my head on my own pillow and the boppy between my legs. Trouble is that I find it too large to use just for my belly and knees. I'm going to take it back and get a regular size body pillow.

I bought the Boppy wedge, but don't have enough of a belly to use it yet.  It is pretty small though which I like. Right now I just use a firm pillow and toss a leg over it, keeping my hip, knee and ankle at the same level.  Seems to work fine.

I've been looking and debating myself - I'm on the BRU website now - has anyone tried the Back N' Belly Contoured Body Pillow - it goes around both sides of yous body unlike the Snoogle. Wondering if it's as comfy as it looks and if it takes up the whole bed - we have a Queen size and while my DH and I sleep on opposite sides (I can't sleep up against anyone) I don't wanna feel like I'm pushing him out of the bed.

I LOVE my snoogle. I got it on Amazon with the cover included. Make sure if you get one, you get the zipper cover. It's way easier to put on and take off.

I have the MOM (generic for Boppy) wedge.  I love it.  I'm a back sleeper and have been told to stop with the back sleeping.  I wedge it under my right side, under my back.  I can sleep a little to the left without totally being on my side.  Takes the pressure off my tummy and allows me to be comfy.

I have the Leacho Back N' Belly pillow. I could NOT sleep at all before I got it. It really is a lifesaver. The support on both sides really helps me stay in one position the whole night. It is VERY big though. I would say it easily takes up 1/2 of our queen size bed, maybe more when I'm in it. My husband doesn't seem to mind though - especially since I'm not cranky from not getting sleep for weeks at a time!

I bought a snoogle but returned it. I think it would have been great but I'm 5'1" and felt like it was too long for me. Plus it was a real pain to move it around when I had to get up to pee. I just got a body pillow at Target to replace it and that seems to be working just fine.
