You've had an U/S, right? Did the doc say anything about the baby's movement? If your doc isn't too concerned, then I would try to relax and wait for it to come later. I know there is a lot of variation due to placenta location/body shape & size, how you are carrying, if you have lots of ab muscles, and probably other reasons too.
Or you could try my method to feel kicking, which is eating a greasy McDonald's breakfast and OJ. Worked pretty well!
She is my first and I didn't feel her until almost 21 weeks. I was a size 14 pp and only 5'4'' and was told sometimes if you are heavier it will take longer to feel them move. I will be 24 weeks on Thursday and DH has only felt her lightly from the outside 3 times.

Yeah, I got one at 18 weeks. The technician said that she was a serious mover and her legs kick a lot, so I guess she didn't seem concerned, but we didn't really talk much on it. I was a size 16 pp so maybe that's a reason why! I'll bring it up at my next OB appointment. :]
Dangit, now I want a McDonald's meal... I need to make my SO take me there soon...

Re: Paranoid!
I've heard girls say it can take up to 25 weeks before you feel anything.
Don't worry. Or, call your doctor and see what they think.
