Repost: Sister + Mom planning (and MIL) = disaster

Ok, so my mom and sister got in a big fight about three weeks ago. My sister is very hurt and has a right to be (IMO). However, she and my mom are supposed to be planning my shower. My MIL also offered to help, since it will be my only shower and a big one (co-ed, both sides of the family, about 70 guests). MIL told DH some ideas my mom had, and she wasn't really liking them (in terms of favors and food). Question is, do I butt out and let the three of them deal with it? Or try to smooth things over and casually mention to my mom and MIL some thoughts I had in mind?
