I would consider all 3 to be good choices. However, I do not know that many people who would keep their toddler in the Snugride 35 until they reached 35 lbs. Although it is recommended to keep them rear facing as long as possible, many people seem to turn their car seats around a lot sooner.
I am getting the Chicco Keyfit 30... even though the Snugrides and the Chiccos have compareable safety ratings (both very good). The reason I am getting the Keyfit30 instead of a Snugride is length of the seats, the Snugrides are significantly longer and I'm worried about them fitting in my Honda Accord. I also like the look of the Chicco Keyfit 30s better overall, Graco's patterns kind of drive me a little batty (some I like, but then they're the patterns not available in stores, and I don't want ALL of my registry items to be online only).

We have the original Snugride which we will be reusing.
Even if the Snugride 35 rear faces to 35 lbs, there's still a rear facing height limit of 32". DD was 32" at 1 year and only 22 lbs. She was rear facing in her Britax Marathon until 32 lbs and 39" (2 1/2 years).

We have the Snugride 32 and really liked it. It did get heavy to lug DS around, but I just left it in the car then and carried him. We switched him rearfacing into a TrueFit Convertible where he'll be until he hits the weight limit of 35#.

Ditto!
