When can I expect them after the initial visit? I'm 21 weeks and have only had one so far. I hate not knowing what to expect at the Doc's office.

You won't have any until the end. My doc doesn't do them unless you are having contractions or signs of labor, other than the 36w group b check/test.

My doctor only does the 36 w Group B test, and they check to see if you are dilated. That is it. I was talking to my friend today,and she gets checked every week since 35 weeks (she had spotting and contractions then), and is unsure if it is because of that or they do it for everyone. But, I think you will not have one until 36 weeks unless some problem arises

That's good to know. The bigger I get, the harder it is to shave my legs and bikini area .  I've been doing every time just in case. Now I won't have to.

I'm glad this was asked because I've been wondering the same thing. I know in the beginning they told me I wouldn't be getting another internal exam until third tri, but they didn't say exactly when...Now I can ease my mind...I hate those things lol
