I just had my 24 week appointment a couple weeks ago at which I found out I was actually 25 weeks. I had two appointments set up then, one 3 weeks from then for the glucose test with my nurse and another two weeks after that with my doctor so I'm guessing my doctor switches it around the same time as yours.
I think it kind of depends on your doc and also when your last appointment is PRIOR to 3rd tri... I had one yesterday at almost 26 weeks. My next one won't be until 30-31 weeks. After that I'll start going every other week, and then weekly in the last month.
I think when I hit 30 weeks I started going every other week. Then when I hit 36 weeks I started going every week with DD. I have switched doctors now so not sure when my appointments will get more frequent with this one.
My OB's office gave us an appointment calendar which says that the visitis will become more frequent at 30 weeks (like maybe every two weeks) but it also says it is depending on the patient and provider...
Because of some complications and my high anxiety level my doctor sees me every week, but is now going to every 2 weeks. But I think after your 30 week apt.you'll be seen every other week then at 36 you get seen every week (if I remember correctly)
Starting at 30 weeks I'll be seeing my ob every week (I haven't met him yet.. Really hoping I like him. Heard he speaks perfect English, so that's good)
Re: At what one will you see your Dr. more than once a month?
I saw my dr at 25 weeks. She told me to come back at 28 weeks and then every two weeks after that. I guess I go weekly starting at 36ish weeks?
I see my Peri every 2 weeks now - and will switch to every week when I reach 24 weeks. But, I am high risk.
I think my friends have started every other week appointments when they hit 30 or 32 weeks - then every week at 36 weeks? I may be off though.
This is how it was/will be for me.
I believe most docs want to see their patients once a month up to 30 weeks and then every two weeks until 35 weeks and then once a week after that.
