Hey guys! I had my f/u appt today from going to L&D on Wednesday. They checked my cervix which is the same as it was Wednesday (a "fingertip") so they were relieved and said if I don't progress anymore I can stop taking Procardia next week! That'd be awesome because it's giving me bad headaches and dizzy spells. They also did an u/s and she was huge since our last one at 20 weeks! She's totally head down in ready position which was crazy to see.. her butt is above my belly button and her legs looked like she was kneeling. Her arms are at her side which made her look so uncomfortable but whatever floats her boat! Haha. Dr said my fluid looks good and the placenta looks great. It's on my left side. Her hb was beautiful and he showed us her bladder, kidneys, spine, head, and measured her thighs which is right at 25 weeks 2 days. Something fun was he showed us her ears which were sticking out just like mine do! Haha :-)
We have another appt scheduled next Thursday so we'll see what's up then. I've been contracting everyday still and I started counting them today at 10:30. I've had 4 in the last 20 minutes.. I'm gonna keep drinking water and lay on my side but if they keep happening I need to call L&D again. Keep prayin for us. You guys are awesome, thank you a million times for the support. :-)
Re: Had f/u appt today after preterm labor on Wednesday
If you are still contracting that often, I don?t see why any good OB would take you off of your meds. That just sounds like a big risk to me.
I hope things calm down and start to get better. My sister went into PTL with her first at 20 weeks and the meds held off delivery until 32 weeks. She was eventually put on hospital bedrest but felt so much better there since she and baby were constantly monitored! Hopefully you never get to that point.

Did they take a fetal fibronectin and/or measure your cervix with a transvaginal U/S today or at the hospital? You didn't mention either. They really should do both for peace of mind purposes.
