Directions for Diaper cake?

The below post got me thinking (it looks awesome by the way!!).

My LO grew out of NB and size 1 diapers in mid pack, so I have alot of diapers left that were already opened. I have a friend whose baby shower is in May and thought...maybe I could make her a diaper cake with what I have left over.

 Is there a website that you get directions from? How did you ladies learn to make them? Any tips? Thank you for your help!!

I'm sure you could try ehow.  I just asked my friend how she did hers.  FYI: I got a lot of the little trinkets at walmart for cheap!  Like the Ducks were $1 each & I added a little brush & comb and travel size soaps/lotions, teethers, paci's.  Try the dollar store too.

After recieving 3 diaper cakes- I have one tip- Do NOT rubberband the diapers. I have about 300 diapers rolled up and rubber banded. It makes for a huge pain in the a55 when you have to un-do all those diapers. Also a choking hazard to have that many rubberbands floating around in the nursery. One got away from us and I found it in his toy bin! Another friend made a diaper cake for me and didn't roll them she just fanned out the diapers and  then secured them with one large ribbon. lemme see if I can PIP to show you.
