So my DH is up and out of the house way earlier than me every morning and tends to leave me a note on my computer for when I wake up. Today's was particularly sweet and got me all teary and I thought I'd share He's about to leave on a business trip for a week and he knows I get nervous when he's gone so he "stocks up" on the mushy stuff.

remember these things, especially as you go about your days with me in athens:

? You are exactly who I want.
? You are more smart and talented than you give yourself credit for.
? You have the miracle of life inside you right now, our baby owes everything it now has potential to be to you.
? You are better than the sum of your circumstances, you have an identity outside of what you do each day and that identity is a loving, kind woman who cares more for her husband than she ought to sometimes.
? I think cats are great judges of character, and both of ours adore you, the shy cuddly one especially.
? I love you with my whole soul and for every reason from your heart, to your talent, to your beauty, to your smarts, and to your desire to be better than you already are.
? We're in this together and we're going to come out of it okay, if not only because we have each other and a small little growing family.

keep this up, save it, and read it once a day. it's something you need to know.

crap, now i'm crying again. haha i just thought it was really sweet and now i can't WAIT for him to get home!!
