I love love LOVE the show. Can't read the books. I've tried. I can't get into them. They are so boring to me.

I like the books but they can get seriously repetitive.  I hate how the author feels like she needs to rehash details in every single book.  Ok, ok, I remember.  Now move on!

I adore the show. I did read the books prior to the show coming on, and while some are slow, I've enjoyed them a lot. But honestly? I love how they changed the show from the books... they've made it 10x more interesting. Eric and Jason. Yummy.

I like both but the books tend to make Sookie a bit whiney and such.... I like the strong Sookie on the show!

Same. The show makes me cringe.

The books aren't perfect, but I think they take themselves way less seriously.

I LOVE the books. I think the show is good tho. And yeah Eric is way hot. I always thought Bill would be hotter tho.

The show starts in June, but no set premiere date yet (it will be on a Sunday though).

I love that show! I can't watch the beginning (opening credits), though. It creeps me out.

I am so Team Eric! He's HOT! I liked him before he started being "good". I watch the show with DH and drool over Eric every time. Lol.

They are sort of following the overall arc in the books in the shows, but there is a LOT of differences. Season 1 sort of followed the mystery in Book 1, season 2 did a lot of book 2... etc But it's very loosely based.

I wish they would interject more of Eric's humor into the show though. He's pretty funny in the books

I'm so glad I'm not the only one! lol, I have read all 9 books within a month! They were pretty boring to me at first, but holy crap, it got sooo addicting. Eric is WAY sexier than stupid Edward lol

  Eric is the best part of the books. I adore him Once Eric came into play more, the books got so much better.

I love the show and hate the books too. Well, I can't say I hate them because I just tried to read them and couldn't get into them.
