I hate the "how much weight have you gained?" posts. They always include people who have only gained in the single digits, and they always make me feel like a fat fvck because I have gained 25 lbs so far.

I used a leash... on my pet lamb! We would walk her (like a dog) she loved it and my dad never had to mow the lawn. In case you are wondering I lived in the suburbs, and we also had chickens and rabbits!
ALSO.... I don't get Mat photo shoots! By my 3rd tri I don't think I'll want professional pics to remind me of the bloating, water retention and sleepless nights!

Oh ok I have a good one. DH is on a dart team and after the match was over this week he called me and asked if I minded if he went to a different bar for a while afterwards with two girls that are on the team. I used to be on the team and I know these girls...they are not attractive at all. I told him to go have fun. If the girls were cute I would have asked him to come home.
Bar tab = $156,000, Bus to Foxwoods = $0, Puking in the Stanley Cup = Priceless

My confession is that I now want a pet lamb.
They are great pets but are just like babies when they are younger... they are bottle fed ( her mom was killed so my dad brought her home) and they wake up 3-4 times a night to feed!!
I'm rocking a bikini this summer. I even bought a maternity bikini. The only reason I'm not wearing my old ones is because I dont' think my boobs would stay in them.
I got a black and white cookie yesterday (well.. actually green and white - so it was all vanilla)... and I ate the whole damned thing. It was so worth it though!
My birthday is this weekend, and I'm dreading having to talk to my IL's. They really are nice people. They really do insist on talking to me on my birthday to be nice. I realize when they want to know about my life/work/pregnancy, they are being interested and friendly.
And, deep down, I apparently don't give a rat's ass, because it still drives me up the wall to be the focus of their attention for 30-60 minutes while they drill me on every.single.thing in my life no matter how hard I try and change the topic of conversation.
Similar to PP - I roll my eyes when people post how little weight they've gained during the pregnancy...and how small they are...jealous, sure, a little...but, I also wonder why it's become a contest of "Who's gained less weight"
I confess that my in-laws get on my last nerve when they give DH a hard time for going up to St. Louis to visit my family and not driving over into IL to see his stepbrother and his family. When we visit my family it's relaxing and we do our own thing, use my parents house as a hotel and just use the trip as a little getaway. When we visit his step brother, wife and 4 kids it's a totally different kind of trip. We absolutely love them but I'm sick of the in-laws going out of their way to make us feel like crap for this.
Not sure this really qualifies as a confession, but I think my MIL is dumb. Very nice and sweet but dumb as a rock.
Same here. My MIL is very nice, and wants to buy all kinds of things for her grandbaby...but God bless her she is just stupid. She just got a new cell phone and got so terribly ripped off. She also wanted to get a new car a few years back and almost leased a Camry for over $400 a month...thankfully DH was with her for that one and talked her out of it.

This, even though I have, in the past, started such a thread. I even replied to today's. I guess my confession is that I try to be all zen about my weight gain but really I'm freaking out on the inside.
I wish people would skim a page or two before starting a topic. Did we know Corey Haim died? How about Kourtney Kardashian's birth? Anyone see that?
It annoys me when people PG with their first baby say "I'll never ____" Maybe you will, maybe you won't, but you don't really know until you have you're own baby and you find yourself in that situation. (i.e. "I'll never let my baby sleep in my bed with me"... when they have a fever and just want to cuddle with you b/c they feel awful, I guarantee you- you will.)

oh, she sounds just like my MIL. My MIL is a kindergarden teacher, bless her soul, but when it comes to handling just about anything in her life, she's a disaster. Her new "thing" is home improvements. She is trying to fix up her basement in her house and she just keeps hiring cheap contractors with no insurance or qualifications to do crappy jobs that they don't finish! Then she has this guy who I think is her BF try to help her do the work, so that's nice because he doesn't charger her, but he SUCKS! and it takes him forever to do anything, so nothing ever gets done in her house.
She also pays too much for service all the time, bought a brand new desktop (we convinced her she HAD to buy a new computer) and managed to install some anti-virus program on it and basically messed up the whole computer in a matter of 2 days. We had to go in and reformat it and told her never to install anything herself on it again.
I am going to stop here, because I have to get to work. But I know I have a lifetime of ditzy-ness and problems to "fix" ahead of me with her I suppose it could be much worse!
AND I can't stand when my coworker turns everything into a lesson for me. She is always talking about her kids which is fine but it always turns into "you'll figure this out someday" or "you'll learn what it's like" even when she's reading newspaper articles at lunch she turns into a lesson on parenting or time management for me. I want to punch her in the face.

I'm going to need you to stop spouting logic. It has no place here.

My MIL spent almost $200 to "repair" a computer that *might* have got a virus. She totally doesn't have money to throw around, and had no idea how badly she was getting ripped off.
My confession is that I am secretly hoping that Logan will either come at least a week early or anytime late because my EDD is the 29th of june and I REALLY want to go to the theater to see Eclipse which comes out the 30th.
I confess that I'm annoyed that my MIL pushed my shower back a week. She asked me when I wanted it so I told her the latest possible weekend I wanted to have it (I would be 29 weeks and have a fear of bedrest & being extremely uncomfortable anytime beyond that... - I'm having TWINS for pity sake!) So initially she books this place for that (latest possible) weekend then all of a sudden that weekend doesn't work for her so she pushes it back another week. Um. Great. What was the point of asking me when I wanted it?
My confession is that I got into the hot tub over the weekend *gasp* . I set it at 98* and stayed in for 30 mins after getting my doctor's approval. DH's parents have one so they set the temp for me and it was amazing!! Believe it or not, my LO is just fine! All my doc said was to not let myself get too hot and I don't imagine I could get too hot being in 98* water in a 40* atmosphere. My Dr is my new best friend.
I really want LO to be born on a Friday. I know it's silly but both my parents, my brother, me, and DH were all born on Fridays. I think it's cute.
Yesterday I had a frappuccino from Starbucks, a smoothie from the local coffee shop and ice cream from DQ. Poor thing was on a sugar high.

I posted mine!
And flame free confessions aren't fun! I was hoping for another day liek yesterday! lol
I know, hopefully we will get a good one.

Maternity pics where a DH is kissing a bare belly make me
. If you have to take it, fine, but I really don't need to see it in your siggy.
I suppose that's less of a confession and more of an unpopular opinion.
