Our anniversary is tomorrow (JUST realized it was tomorrow - I've been thinking all week it was saturday - ugh, what a wife) and I have no idea what to give DH. The traditional gift theme is wood. I need help with ideas please!
Did you have a special reading (or song lyrics?) at your wedding? I recently made a wall hanging with the poems we had read at our ceremony, using some cool scrapbook paper as the background. In a wood frame, it would fit the theme.
Our new house has a large garden area, so I'm thinking of some fruit trees for our anniversary next month. Flagging this too so I can see what other good ideas are out there.
If your husband likes to ski or snowboard - a late season pass to Kirkwood? I know.. totally cheesy and not sentimental at all but my DH is not the sentimental type, and I just happened to be daydreaming about hitting the slopes.
good question! ours is the 19th and I have no idea what to get. We've never done the tradition gifts, so DH wouldn't get the whole "wood" thing. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread though.
Um...you do know that "wood" is slang for a erection, right??? That should be easy
LOL Kelly, DH is the one who told me that wood was the theme...and I let out a Beavis and Butthead style laugh when he told me b/c that's immediately what i thought of! And surprisingly he looked at me like, "what are you, a twelve year old boy?"

A piece of furniture for indoors or the patio (adirondak chairs?)

Can you do a night away in a log cabin-ish type place?
