okay, so i have found that i don't mind family and friends touching the bump. i actually kind of like it since it makes me feel like they're super happy about the baby and the pregnancy in general.

HOWEVER: i visited my mom at her office for lunch this week and she took me around to embarrass me to her office friends. the first lady i met went "oo is this your pregnant daughter?? can i feel it??!". it was SO.AWKWARD. i was like "uhh ssssure...?"

who's been touched by strangers? [that sounds SO BAD haha] and who's been touched by strangers when you have an almost unnoticeable bump?

Honestly, I don't think I mind that much as long as the person asks if it's ok. I mean I get what the big deal is. People have an obssession with bellies.

If you don't feel ok with it when they ask just say "no". or something like "Shh, not right now, the baby is sleeping!"

I hate any touching...makes me feel weird...unless I ask you to touch.  However, I work at a restaurant and have had to give up on this fight.  :-(  One of my co-workers calls me over to her and says "so and so (her guy friend I have never met) wants to feel your belly."  Then the touching began.  I was just shocked.  I see no point in feeling a belly unless you can feel the baby moving.  :-)

I haven't been touched by strangers yet, but my SIL needs to get a freaking clue about belly touching. She does it WAAAAY too long. It's way too early for her to even feel anything, but she insists on touching my belly for a full five minutes every time she sees me and rubs it like a worry stone or something. I'm not a genie, it's not going to grant you a wish, and I asked you to stop! It's awkward!

This hasn't happened to me yet but I think it is ssooo weird. I know I wouldn't just walk up to some random person and touch them!! 

I think I might be slapping some hands...haha or buying a shirt that says "keep your hands off my bump"

I actually like it when my family or friends does it but other than that..please keep your hands off my big belly! THANKS!! haha

I too, like it when friends and family rub my belly. Strangers however, are another story. It hasn't happened to me yet, but if it does, my plan of attack is to rub theirs right back! That'll have them thinking twice about rubbing a belly that belongs to someone they don't know.

I have found that since i have a little bump, the people who have been touching it i don't really mind.  When i first announced at work i was 13 weeks and just was bloated and there was this girl that every time i saw her she would touch my nonexistent belly. i thought that was kind of annoying.

Ya I had some friends do that when i was 13 weeks who are gym rats, so ya feeling baby bloat doesn't make you feel uber sexy. I'm nervous about the whole belling rubbing thing. Not with family or friends, but my boss (a male) in particular asks me weird questions like do I plan on breast feeeding and am I going to have a C-Section or "normal" delivery (JUST SAY IT VAGINAL DELIVERY). Gross don't want to talk about that with a guy. If he wants to rub my belly I will drop kick him!

Honestly, I want everyone's hands off, including family.  I like my personal space and hate when people invade it, no matter what the reason is.  I'm for sure prepared to give flat out no's if people ask me if they can feel.
