Boy name opinion

Opinions on the name Rocco Anthony?  I am Italian, DH is not.  We are both in agreement on Anthony as a middle name (my dad's name), but DH is a little hesitant about commiting to Rocco.  Like I said, he's not Italian and feels it has a "goombah" feel to it.

I think it's cute for a baby, and will be strong for when he grows up.

I like it. I don't think "goomba" at all. For me, goomba is more of a physical look haha.

I also wonder if your DH would go for it if Anthony was first. My DH is Italian and I am not. I was not thrilled by his suggestion, so we settled on a very Italian name as a middle name and a non-ethnic name as a first for a boy.

NMS, but I'm sure people would say that about our name choices as well.

Makes me think of Rocky Rococo's pizza, which is the best pizza in the world btw.

I don't know what "goombah" is, but this name reminds me of either a stereotypical Italian chef with the big moustache and/or someone who might be employed by a criminal enterprise to whack people.

 I agree!  Whenever I think about a child's name, I try to think of seeing that name on a resume or on the door of a doctor or lawyer's office.

THIS! I hesitated saying this at first because I wasn't sure ppl actually watched that show. lol

I dunno.. Rocco just doesn't sound like a person name to me. More like a pet. Sorry!

I would have to agree Rocco does sound like something you would more name a pet than your cute bundle of joy but if you cant commit to anything else then go with it

I've always thought it sounds like a nickname.
