I agree. Some parents spank others think it's the worst thing in the world. I don't see the problem if the child isn't being abused. Right? Every parent has different parenting styles. I might not agree with everything that the next person agrees with... but who cares. Every parent is different.

I've always been of the mind that 'it's your child, you raise them how you deem fit, and let me raise mine how I deem fit'. (except in cases, like you said, where the child may be being harmed).

I actually don't mind if people say they will never use a leash. More power to them. It's the judgment and and name calling of those who do that bothered me.

Like I said. Every parent is different. I am not a parent yet so I can't say I'll never do something. Every parent has a different parenting stlye and I'm okay with anything a parent does as long as the child is not being harmed. Once my LO gets here I'm open to just about anything. I plan on going with the flow and figuring out as I go what is best for my child. Flame if you want.

I'd much rather people call me names than have some creep snatch my child up and me only see her on the back of a milk carton. I don't think parents that use a leash are lazy... I think it's safe.

Not gonna flame you.    You're right - everyone is different.  We're all people with our own opinions and thoughts.  I was just sending my heartfelt sympathy in advance.  Made me think of that old song - the 7 words never played on the radio (or whatever it was called).
