or when your speech delayed child is a runner. If he gets away from you, he literally cannot communicate his name, or any information. I should just hold his hand tightly and take my chances huh? Or take away something he loves because of our inability to communicate with each other?
Man, you were right! That DOES make me a lazy parent! (oh, and that was a sarcastic tone, dear.)
Well of course that means holding onto their hands no matter what even if it means dislocating their shoulders because they are flailing about. If you do anything else you are a lazy parent.

Or heathrow airport, you've already gatechecked the stroller and it's loaded under the plane, you have a newborn and toddler, and you are alone.
Or any airport when you're traveling with a 14 month old, alone, strollerless, and waiting on a six hour weather delay. Cause, you know, my kid loves holding my hand for six hours straight.
I had to LOL at her posts. Seriously, what does she know? She will learn with time and feel very, very stupid. I hate judgemental, ignorant people like her but I take comfort in the fact that she has NO CLUE what she is talking about. Even if she never uses a leash her self she will see the value of one.
My 2 girls, both born on a Friday the 13th, are exactly 2 years, 2 months, 2 hours and 2 minutes apart! And Baby Boy joined us October 11, 2013!
