Ok, some of you may be following the issues I've had with my school...
I got another new student today - which brings me up to 121 students to the other GENERAL ED science teacher's 93 students!!
There are lots of other issues - and I'm already seeing a therapist to try to keep me off anxiety meds for the duration of the pregnancy...
My OB and shrink don't want to write a note for an extended time off-work because it won't look good on my medical records...but, it's causing my blood pressure to get so high and I firmly believe it's why I'm not sleeping through the night...
My number 1 concern is the health and well-being of my LO...
I have 42 saved sick days (there are 45 days left of school)...
Would you risk issues with future life insurance/medical insurance or just suck it up and stay at work with all the issues??
I'm honestly torn!!
Re: WWYD? Job question?
Think of it this way...
You have 45 days left of school. 45 days that you don't want to participate in, but 45 days that you most likely get through just fine, especially if you're under the care of your therapist and OB and they've recommended that you continue working if you can. If you've made it this far, I'm sure you can make it a little further.
Plus, think of how those 42 sick days will come in handy if you need to miss work if your child gets sick during the next school year.
My vote: Hang in there - try deep breathing techniques and whatever else your therapist recommends to overcome anxiety you might be feeling, and tell yourself that you only have a little while longer before you're off work!
