I smoked and quit about a year and a half before I was pg. Yes it disturbs me to see a pg woman smoking but it is thier choice. I am sure those that don't smoke have done a few things that a smoking pg person would frown upon.
I chose "never smoked" but I'm a bit of a special snowflake. I like to smoke an occasional cigar. Haven't smoked one since a few months before my BFP though.
I really don't understand why anyone would smoke these days when we all know how horrible it is for you.
You are just as likely to get hit by a bus. So why not enjoy your life while you are on this earth, if smoking is something you enjoy.
For what it's worth- I haven't smoked since the BFP, and I do not plan on starting again since it now makes me sick to even think about. But... if you live your life constantly worried about what this or that will do to you then you aren't really living, are you? JMO

Sure, but smoking will really cut down on the time you are on this earth. And if you do it near loved ones, it can affect their health as well.

So does driving your car... I'm not saying that smoking is the way to go if you don't want to worry about each and everything you do. I was using it as an example to the PP comment. And like I said.... JMO
I voted "I've never smoked", but I was a smoker for several years and quit about 8 years ago. It grosses me out so much now, I have to leave the room a lot when my co-worker comes back from a smoke break cause it is just that gross to me. I am so glad that Colorado passed the smoking ban in public places a few years ago.

Re: s/o Smoking poll (clicky)
I smoked until I found out I was pg with dd. I quit the same day as my positive hpt.
My friend's sister smokes pot and just switched to edible thc when she found out she was pg. I guess that's one way to go.
I quit right before BFP and I still miss it. I don't think I could bring myself to smoke during pregnant though.
I know it is gross and stinky but it was how I relaxed and I enjoyed it. i really enjoyed it with a big fat Stella Artois.

Sure, but you won't get Parkinson's!
