Question about girl name

So one of the girl names that we have on our list (which is slowly getting narrowed down) is Tinsley.  I was looking online though and it appears that it is a boys name.  I've only heard of girls with this name.  What do you guys think?  Boy or girl name?  And do you like it?

I've never heard of that name before, either for a boy or a girl so would have no gender expectation with it.  The main thing if for you both to come up with a name that you love and makes sense to give your child! :-)

Last night on TV I saw a social-light whose name is Tinsley.  I have also seen girls named Ryan and Michael so I don't see too much concern with gender mix ups

I don't know whether to think boy or girl. Whicher, it's nms. It reminds me too much of "tinsel", like for your Christmas tree.

I love the name! IT was on our list for girl names.. more of a girls name then a boys name to me..

I think it's a girls name for sure, but like the spelling Tensley better, IMO.

Girl name. Didn't you watch The Bachelor? That was the girl's name that didn't get picked at the end. I'm sure it's going to be a more popular name now because of the show.

Her name is Tenley. Different from Tinsley
