Definitely! Just confirmed it with my friend last night. We'll wait until about 30 weeks. We are VERY into photos (I'm a photographer, sooo yeah) and we want as much of our lives captured as possible. Also, we enjoy having someone else take photos of us instead of me setting the timer and running like mad, haha. I think it's a beautiful time in our lives and we want to remember those feelings and emotions that can be captured in photographs. I hope to do the same with each pregnancy and just add in the kids we already have for some of the photos.

I think I am going to - but will wait until like 30+ weeks like PP's said. I already emailed my wedding photog and he was excited to do it (his wife is pregnant with their first right now too!)
I want to, but I'll see what I look like then. If Photoshop is going to be needed lots, then no. Lol. But DH is a photographer, so he'll be doing them and I know he'd edit anything I hated.
No. I didn't do it with DD and won't do it with this one. I just don't know what I'd do with like 15 shots of just me and my belly! I actually kind of feel the same way about our wedding photos. We have 2 up, but we paid buckets and have hundreds! What are you supposed to do with them all? (ok of course quite a few are in an album, but....)
yesss.. my photographer friend has agreed to do mine, and will only charge me half for all the photos i want printed, and will give me cds and all the rights to them so i can keep them and eventually get them reprinted down the road if i want.. we're waiting until the first week of june to do mine, since i'm due the 22nd. so i'll be 37 weeks. i'm so excited!
No thank you! I have yet to take a belly picture of my own. I have no desire to have my big pregnant belly photographed. I have no desire to have my pregnancy documented and I doubt anyone in my family would want to see these pictures- ha ha. To each there own.

Yes I am getting them! Thank God I have an old friend from high school who is a great professional photographer...she is really good, I want to display the maternity shot on an easel at the shower too.
DH is a very good hobby photographer, so he is doing them for me...otherwise...I don't think we could currently justify the money (everything that could possibly go wrong in the last few months has...so funds are a bit depleted). I actually let him take some black and white, artsy naked photos the other day that turned out pretty well!! (I deleted a bunch of them..but there were a few that didn't show much of anything that I was actually ok with!)
I wasn't planning on it, but when I went online to the 1st year baby picture package offered by a local photographer, I noticed they added a package with digital rights and a maternity session for a small price increase. Now it looks like I will, since I want digital rights to all LO's pictures throughout the first year.
I am feeling a little uncomfortable about it, since I don't exactly feel beautiful with my skin breaking out and gaining some weight in my face. I also don't really want to do bare belly photos either. I guess I will just go and do it and hope that something comes out of it that I don't totally hate. (This coming from the girl who cried when she got her high school senior pictures back,)
