Activities for older girl

My niece is coming for a visit for spring break.  So far, we're going to the Ft. Worth Zoo, the American Girl store, and maybe 6 Flags (do you think it will be insanely busy during the week?).  Any other suggestions???

TIA!

Re: Activities for older girl

  • I don't know how old she is, but maybe a manicure/pedicure? My little sisters are 13 and 10 and they both love stuff like that and have for a few years.

Six Flags will probably busy but I think that would be fun.

  • I have a little sis from big brothers big sisters, she is 11 and we go get mani pedis a lot.  She is also really into to art and loves to go to the Nasher Sculpture Center.  She mentioned last weekend that she wanted to go ice skating for her birthday next week, so you guys could always do that before or after The American Girl Store.  Have fun!

  • We took my cousins with their kids (ages 6-10) to the FW Museum of Science and History and everyone loved it.  They had a CSI thing that the older kids loved and a bunch of hands on stuff for kids of all ages.
