8am phonecall "can I have your tree?"

Some guy called this morning asking if he can pay me to cut down one of my black walnut trees.

He had to have reverse searched us to get the phone #.

He only offered me $300 for a big black walnut tree, straight, no branches until about 2 stories tall.

The weird part? This is the second time someone has offered to buy that tree. First offer was $800. Different people.

For those not in the know, black walnut lumber is $$$.

Hmmm.

We've got about 7-8 black walnuts that make a mess of the backyard...maybe I need to make some calls, LOL.
