Does it feel odd when someone refers to you as a "woman"?

I know that sounds dumb but I do. I was having a heart-to-heart with my old sup (who I still secretly think is cute) and he told me I was a "smart woman" and it sounded so wrong. I mean, I'm almost 30 so I guess woman should be the preferred term over girl but I feel like that's what I would call my mom. Just like 8'm not a ma'am. :::shudder::: in my mind I'm still 20 damn it.

    No, but I feel weird when a teenager calls me Ma'am.

    It always makes me feel odd when someone calls me "ma'am" or "mrs" or something like that. I feel like I'm still 16 or something.
