I can be a real AW now that I have pictures of my own that aren't traceable to the listing on the interwebz.
Kitchen (pardon the weird look on my face, I didn't know DH was about to take a picture)

Family Room (notice the *lovely* carpet!)

Really not sure what they were thinking on paint colors. This picture does not do the colors justice:

More hideous-ness:

And because it was on the camera and too cute not to include even though it's totally unrelated:
Re: AWing my (soon-to-be) fugly house (PsIP)
The house does look cute though, and the layout seems awesome. Paint is cheap.
Cute kid
ETA: Congrats on being a homeowner! Its great! Our "honeymoon" phase hasn't ended yet. Still loving it
Paint is an easy fix! Congrats!
::squishes Gabe's cheeks::
I can see the bigger picture...the house will lok great when you are done with it.
is that a poker room?
I pictured way worse - congrats!
And yay for Gabe pics!
GABE!!!
The paint is terrible! LOL! Lots and lots or primer. It is going to SUCK painting over that orange.
Congrats on the house! I LOVE the cards painted on the wall.
As always, your little man is ADORABLE.
It was more disgusted at the layers and layers of yuck that I was realizing would have to be cleaned.
It was....something. There is also a big red and white target on the other wall, so who the heck knows. I feel kinda bad, someone went to a lot of trouble to paint those ugly cards on the wall.
Okay your house is even worse than mine was. I had a magenta (think Blue's clues Magenta) and dark purple room. The top diagonal was magenta, bottom purple. The window sill was bright yellow.
One room is medium color blue with sky giant diamonds everywhere.
I also had muted burnt orange, maroon, dark tan, and sage green.
That is the plan. We are planning to put down hardwood floors throughout downstairs, so we'll probably paint first, then do the floors. We are on the hook with our rental house until April 30th so we should have a month of overlap to get that stuff done.
Congrats on the house!
The orange wall with the cards on it is hilarious. At least paint is a cheap and easy fix.
Take lots of pics now - I wish we had some "before" pictures of when we first moved in.
Ooooh, I wish I could come help with the floors! I've always wanted to learn, but everytime family does this I am not able to go up and help. My folks have done most of their house (and my cousin's) and they say it's really easy.

I think we're going to bite the bullet and hire someone to put them in. I know how to do it (used to work for a hardwood flooring manufacturer when I lived in ATL) but the space is too big and the time too short for me to be confident that I could do as good a job as a professional.
