DD just started pulling up and creeping... Dr said to be barefoot in the house, but what type of shoe do I buy for when she is outside and wanting to stand?

Or is it pre-walkers... sorry, I think first walkers are for better walkers... anyways- what the hell do I buy?

DD wears imitation robeez outside, and barefoot inside. Until she is walking unassisted she won't do much walking outside. Any standing can be done in the Robeez....we'll get proper running shoes when she is really walking.

I would stick with something that has a very flexible sole (think Robeez). They use their toes to grip the ground as they learn how to walk. If the soles are too thick or stiff, that will get in the way.

Right, but if I want a different brand than Robeez, what "type" of shoe to I choose on zappos.com? Crib shoes look pretty soft & flexible, but so do the pre-walkers.

I think "prewalkers" and "crib shoes" are basically synonymous, both soft soled. Personally, I would probably lean to the prewalkers as they sound like they would be better suited for kiddos who spend a lot of time on their feet. KWIM? I haven't ordered anything like that online though, so I couldn't say for sure.
DD has little running shoes with hard soles. I like the real runners for her because of the ankle support. When she is inside most of the time she is barefoot.
