Can someone fill me in on Layla?

Was this a nestie's baby?  I just watched the video and she looks so precious.  How sad.  I don't know her story or what she was sick with, but I've seen posts about her on several boards today.

    i don't think she was a nestie's baby but you know how stories like that spread around here.
