Poll: What's your weird and irrational "skeeve" that others do?

One of mine is when people have long toenails, even manicured.  Grosses me out.  I get all distracted and can't stop being bothered by it. To me, they should never be past the edge of the toe. It boggles my mind when I see toes with French manicures.... so, you pay someone to  make you look like you need to clip your toes?  Irrational, I know. 

I remember Mrs Jenni had cute maternity pics in her siggy and one was of her sitting in the glider with her feet up.  You could see her nail over the edge of her toes.  Loved the picture, but couldn't stop noticing the toenails...lol.

 So, what's your irrational weirded out thing that people do?

This isn't too wierd but I hate it when people in front of me hock a loogie.  I feel like I have to throw up.  I remember once in the movie Titanic Leo DiCaprio did this and I almost left the theatre because I thought I was going to be sick.  I know it isn't too wierd to be skeeved out by this, but I really do get sick to my stomach when I see someone do this.

Coughing.  MIL has this nasty, sick cough right now and when we're on Skype and she does it, I want to run for the Lysol and spray my computer down. 

That and when people make gross noises while eating.

I don't think this is irrational but I have a coworker who picks the food out of her teeth and then sucks it off of her finger.  It's soooo gross and she seriously thinks nothing of it.  She also coughs and doesn't cover her mouth.  I made a comment one time and she just blew it off and said, "Oh, I have milk caught in my throat".  Um, ok but can you still cover your mouth?!?!  She doesn't get it.

 I agree with this. I'll go a step further and say I don't think you should see any white on toenails. They should be clipped as short as possible. Blech!

that is super gross!  i hate it when people talk with their mouth full.  i had a co-worker that did this and i had to stop eating lunch with her.

ugh i can't stand it when people blow their nose at the table.  My in-laws both used to do this after every meal.  Makes me lose my appetite every time...

 I agree with this. I'll go a step further and say I don't think you should see any white on toenails. They should be clipped as short as possible. Blech!

That's a good way to get an ingrown toenail.  Even grosser.

I posted this exact same thing in Unpopular Opinions once, and some people seemed rather offended... just a warning. But I soooo agree. The point of a French mani is to emphasize the white part of the nail, to give the illusion of length... and length is the LAST thing I want to emphasize on my toes. Ew.

Guys with fingernails that aren't clipped all the way down. Any length of nail on a guy at all is beyond revolting to me.

The beast in my basement has claws like a sloth. It is on the very long list of things that creep me out about my FIL.

Ok don't laugh at me.....

I won't eat my food if the waitress stacks plates on my food. Ya know like when they bring it out loaded up on their arms & half the plate is on top of the plate under it. Blech.

People that blow their nose at the table.

Eating with your mouth open.

When people get that white junk at the side of their mouth when they are talking.

Eye boogers.

Food stuck to the bathroom sink after people have brushed.

Dirty toilets. I clean mine everyday. 

I also can't get gross things out of my head once I've seen it. I have serious issues. I know this. lol
 

edt: I cannot walk around my house barefoot. I also can't step on the rug in the bathroom w/ out my feet being dry 1st.

I'm sure this isn't irrational, but I hate the sound of people clipping their nails.  Someone was doing it here at work the other day and I had to tell him to go to the bathroom.  I just imagine their nails going all over the place.  Gross.

Ooooh also when people chew with their mouth open so you hear the smacking and chewing sound.  I don't like when people talk with a mouth full of food and try to cover their mouth with their hand to make it seem less gross. It's not less gross.

LOL sorry but I have to laugh at this.  This annoys me too.  The thought of my plate being stacked on the waitress' arm with other plates on top is unappetizing to me hahaha
