I need to start giving E a more substantial breakfast. Right now she just has a small bowl of plain yogurt (about 4 or 5 tablespoons) with a couple tbsp of fruit puree stirred in and her sippy of milk.
Breakfast is D's biggest meal, because it is DH favorite meal. They have eggs with cheese mixed in, waffles, bacon or sausage, fruit, sometimes pancakes instead of waffles or french toast.
TJs has great frozen french toast, pancakes, soy sausage, banana waffles.
She has a sippy of milk and a piece of toast first thing with me in the morning. Then she has her real breakfast around 9 at daycare, and I usually send either scrambled eggs, yogurt (or applesauce) and cheerioes or a wholegrain waffle, yogurt (or cottage cheese), and banana. That's pretty much her staple. On the weekends I'll make french toast or do oatmeal, but I don't often send those during the week.
Most mornings during the week he gets a cup of milk and home and then 2 Eggos in the car... they're Nutri Grain so I don't feel as bad! LOL
Our mornings are insane, because I have such limited time due to my dialysis; we have to eat on the run.
On weekends, DH makes a full breakfast for all of us, and he gets whatever we're having; french toast, a pancake, scrambled eggs with veggies mixed in...

This just tickles me for some reason! I love the visual of them having their hearty manly man breakfast!
TJ's Organic Breakfast bars in blueberry or Fig are a big hit in our house. French Toast, waffles, sliced fruit, bacon are also things he gets a fairly. We have tried scrambled eggs, pancakes, and smoothies but he isn't a fan.
Breakfast is T's smallest meal (clearly, he doesn't get that from me). He eats some cheerios, milk in a sippy, and some YoBaby yogurt with a tablespoon of baby oatmeal mixed in. I do the oatmeal b/c it adds a few more calories and vitamins, and makes it thicker (easier to feed).
Char loves breakfast...so much so she has two (well one is sort of her "brunch" but she eats around 7 and 10:30).
Most days it's oatmeal with two hefty spoons of applesauce and some blueberries/strawberries/banana while she waits. Her second breakfast is a waffle or ww english muffin (sometimes with PB, sometimes butter). And she gets some cottage cheese. Or a string/babybel cheese. (She doesn't drink milk but looooves cheese.) Earth's Best makes a great blueberry waffle that splits into quarters. Otherwise, we get them at TJs.
Her afternoon snack is yogurt and a banana typically.
She loves breakfast burritos - eggs, cheese, ham and loves it with bits of TJs sundried tomato habanero tortilla. That's what we usually have on the weekend and she gobbles it up!
My E has a bowl of oatmeal (regular old-fashioned oats) with milk and frozen blueberries (they defrost right in the oats). It's about 1/2 cup total. Sometimes he just fishes out the buh-buhs, though Then, he has a bowl of cereal (usually o's) with a small amount of milk. And a couple of oz of milk in the sippy, too.

We absolutely love the TJ's french toast. So super yummy and delish. DS loves them and will eat a ton if that is for breakfast.
DS isn't a big breakfast eater since he just nursed most of the night usually. So we wait a bit and usually 2 hours after he gets up we have a breakfast. On some days that is toast with fruit (blueberry, banana, peach, apple), or yogurt and fruit with a bowl of dry cereal. He absolutely loves eggs scrambled with cheese, and he likes sausage but we reserve that for the weekend. He likes bacon but has trouble eating it so we try to avoid that. He'll eat pancakes but we don't eat those at home.
Milk, cheese, crackers and fruit standing at the counter while DH gets stuff ready for the day, he's not into a big meal. Once he gets to DCP they get fresh eggs and have eggs and toast together.

Thanks for the TJs tip!
It is very true.. when D was about 1 he would grab a book and climb into his highchair and wait for breakfast to be served by Daddy. LOL Now he sits at the table or will help in the kitchen.

Bacon or breakfast sausage with some eggs, toast/raisin bread, cereal, mini pancakes and french toast. I usually make the french toast with Semifreddi's Cinnamon Twist Challah bread---they gobble it up!! I also almost always have fresh fruit on the side: strawberries, blueberries or raspberries.
Mine is pretty simple and he's eaten it every day since he was an infant. Reading all of the other responses, I feel so boring but hey, it works!
I prepare his oatmeal (whole raw rolled oats). I add milk, nutmeg (pinch), vanilla and maple syrup to my water that I'm preparing the oatmeal with. I make enough to last all week. I add coarse flax seed meal before giving it to him. I ask him each morning what he'd like in his oatmeal-- the choices are raisins, banana slices, (berry that's in season). Some mornings he has it without any additions. He eats a larger bowl than I do!
I prepare enough oatmeal to last all week (fridge in glass tupperware) and "scoop some into a bowl, add milk, mash, and nuke" each morning.
Keeping in the fridge always guarantees that he will eat (he's 2.25). If we have something for dinner that he just refuses, I can always ask, "would you like a bowl of oatmeal?" and it's a win-win situation.

S is a bit younger than E but I usually feed her some assortment of the following:
- cheerios with whole milk and blueberries and/or rasberries
- full fat cottage cheese with fruit/berries (whatever I have on hand)
- whole wheat english muffin with butter and cheese
- yogurt with a scoop of full fat cottage cheese stirred in and fruit
- whole wheat waffles or pancakes with jam
We vary, but it's typically one of the following
- Yoyo baby yogurt
- pancakes (dollar minis) & morning star all-veggie saugage
- waffle & morning star all-veggie saugage
- scrambled eggs (sometimes w/ chopped up sausage)
- plain bagel, toasted w/ plain cream cheese
+ 8oz milk 30 minutes before breakfast

Yogurt
Eggs w/ cheese
Fruit and cherrios
Cereal bar
French toast (her fave) or pancakes - Frozen from TJ's
She pretty much chooses from these options:
eggs/toast
pancakes
waffles
cereal
oatmeal
Jay eats a few different things depending on what he feels like:
- Cheerios with warm milk
-Whole Wheat Muffin with Peanut Butter
-Breakfast Cereal Bar and a Fruit
-Oatmeal
He does have his days where he is not very hungry in the morning and he just has an apple (sliced) or banana and then has a snack soon after
weekdays she eats breakfast at day care (though she gets a sippy at home before heading to day care).
On the weekends we normally give her either what we're having (cereal, pastry, toast, eggs) or
the frozen steel cut oatmeal from TJ's
or a frozen whole grain waffle from TJ's
Well - Ryan's more of a "pre-schooler" now but here's our rotation:
pancakes, yogurt, banana, cereal, toast, french toast, waffles, juice, milk, and smoothies
Obviously not all the same day...
LOL I love it.
