Gifts for sprinkle (twins--2nd pregnancy)

I posted this on 12-24, too, but was hoping you coul give me some insight on multiple's needs!

I need to get gifts for my friend's sprinkle today.  She is having twin girls.  My other friends are getting diapers/wipes/long sleeved onesies.  Can you think of anything else that might be a bit different (in addition to diapers) I could get that would be useful?

  • itzbeen timers (i have 2)! they've saved my mind!!! Although, you may have to order them online and I see that it's today. Maybe you could order it/them and put a picture in a card and give it to her later?
  • I loved these blankets for swaddling the girls together: https://www.adenandanais.com/shop/classic.aspx.  They also work well as a light weight blanket in hotter weather.

i loved these for swaddling babies in hot weather when they outgrew standard receiving size.  they are also available at target... but online.

so many things are available online, so since it's today... what about some bf accessories?  IF you are trying to be practical, and if she plans to nurse or pump:  lansinoh ultra thin nursing pads, lansinoh ointment, medela milk storage bags, medela steam clean bags.

  • 2 Cotton sleep sacs/wearable blankets.

Bath supplies like baby wash, lotion, 2 thick hooded towels.

    Health/medical supplies.

Cloth diapers to use as burp cloths.

I also liked when I got gifts in baskets, as I use the baskets now to store baby supplies.

    Hope that helps!

  • My first thought, as boring as it is, is a gift card.  She undoubtedly has things she knows she needs and is not going to get, so help her out with a gift card and maybe something small like a pair of zippered sleepers to go with it.

  • I know this is late but maybe you could give them as a gift after the babies arrive.  I second the Itzbeen timer.  I use it all the time.  It is truely a lifesaver. I don't have to ask myself when was the last time so and so ate.  Also, a friend gave me these https://www.inchbug.com/1a1.html .  I LOVE them.  I have a set for each girl that I put on their bottles.  If I ever know of anyone to have twins, they will be getting these from me.
