Question - BFF staying with me tonight and we have plans...

So, just got a horrible call from BFF her DH has been cheeting. She's coming to stay with me tonight.

I promised B pajama story time at the library tonight though. Should I drag BFF along or let her stay home alone?

ask her what she would want to do....explain to her that you promised B and that she is welcome to join you.

I'd invite her to go.  At this point anything that isn't her house might be a nice thing.

Could you all go and maybe your dh bring your daughter home?  Then you and your bff could go out for a drink or something.

She is on her way to my house already now, she lives a few blocks away.

DH works nights, so he can't really help. I'll see what she wants to do when I get home.

I'd invite her along.  It will help take her mind off of her DH.  If she declines, let her know you already had plans with B and she is more than welcome to hang out until you get back.

This. Your plans with B won't take too long. She may just want to hang at your place, and be willing to talk with you when you get home. You're a good friend.
